Appreciating Family

Appreciating Family

Let's ponder and think deeply to the following questions...which I ve never thought before. How many times have we uttered a sincere word of "thank you" to our love one? Have not they done anything, small or big, all these while? So, start appreciate your life partner before it is too late, from today.

These are my appreciative words toward my love one - my wife and my six kids.

1) To My Loving Wife

Come to think of it, it lingers my mind lately and wonder whether I really appreciate enough what she has done and continue doing without fail each day - preparing meals, taking care my school-going kids, while working. Alhamdulillah (thanks to Allah). She is the best that I ve ever have in my life. Syukran. She is also the best friend who will be there, beside me, advicing me, motivating me, hugging me when I need most.

Oh Allah, please forgive me if I ve failed to be the best husband and friend to her whenever she needs me most! She is the HASZLINI ABDUL KAREM - the one and only, I ever have. Please bestow your blessing upon her..ameen

I promise to give my best to her InsyaAllah

2) To Cheerful Children

Oh Allah. I am so thankful and grateful of your present of six wonderful kids to me. I will try my best to nurture and guide them to be your obiding servants. InsyaAllah. If I fail or become weaker, please guide and give strength to me to continue guiding them to the right path of Islam - the true religion.

The youngest and smallest of all, 2-year old Adeed Rayyan, is the wonderful kid..never fails to cheer me up every time I get home, calling me "ayah" (dad), continuosly until I reach, hug and cuddle him. He is so cute and brilliant little boy - centre of attraction of all in the family.

Next is my 4-year old Ariefa Khaleesya...a very talkative girl who will always talk and talk until she goes to sleep! She is such a cheerful bright cute little girl. She is so attached to me. Last night, she surprised me, while having a late dinner with her (as she is a slow eater), she suddenly and fondly called "Ayah, ayah" and with full of smile on her little face and with bright eyes, said "Aaaariefa loves ayahhhh!" It really touched my heart so deeply, almost cried inside. I smiled back to her and replied, "Ayah loves Ariefa too" and without wasting a single second, kissed her cheek and warmly hugged her. I wonder what will her reaction be if I say it out at every morning and evening for the rest of my life!

My third (8-year old, Ainin Sofiya) seems to show her bright side lately, though her bad habit still inhabits. I think a little gentle touch and reminder everyday will do wonder - less scolding.  This loving thinny girl, since going back from Al Quran School, has changed dramatically to be a more-obedience and more-organized girl. That propelled me to declare to her school headmaster that "she will the BEST STUDENT in Religion School in the year of 2015.." Lately, I realize she will never the car to school without saying "I love you, Ayah"  with her broad smile.

May Allah allows that to happen. I ve to work hard to achieve that, for sure. May Allah gives me strength and inspiration to carry that out.

(To Be Continued..)
