This December, The Eurekahedge Report takes an in-depth look at European hedge funds; a sector that has witnessed significant growth and then decline in the last decade. Assets in European hedge funds reached a maximum size of US$472.8 billion by October 2007, before declining 40% through the global financial crisis.

Our analysis of the industry's performance to date covers new trends, asset flows and anticipated changes for this sector. We also take a look at up-to-date data for November on the wider hedge fund industry in our regular performance and asset flows sections.

Hedge funds outperformed underlying markets by 2.35% in November
