Have you ever wonder and ponder “why your motivation dies off half-way?” A Malay proverb did mention that this phenomena is suited to be called “hangat-hangat tahi ayam” Remember? Aaah…I bet you are!
Never mind..put that problem aside and let’s figure out and understand further on “how to get ourselves motivated all the way…until you achieve what you are dreaming off or believe that you will achieve!
Believe it or not, a firm belief and trust in yourself is the secret that successful people have in common. Never stop believing in yourself! Even “an average person” believes that “he/she has achieved the goal in his/her life.” Keep on believing that you deserve to be happy, keep on believing that the best is yet to come and believing that you have everything to be successful and will seize the opportunity when they knock on the door.
But what does it mean to believe in yourself? What does it mean to have faith in yourself? What are you really having faith about? And what does it matter anyway?
An author in http://ezinearticles.com/ mentions that in reality, these matters a lot. If you don't believe in yourself, you'll never achieve anything, your achievements or even happiness can only go as far as your beliefs allow them to go. As far as what it is you're having faith about, or what you are believing in when you believe in yourself -- well that has everything to do with what you want out of life. The author has repeatedly said that you can't get what you want if you don't know what that is in the first place; that is your REAL GOAL IN LIFE! If you haven't written down a list of goals, be as concrete as possible, then you'll never get those things because you've never done more than daydream or wish them.
Once you've decided what you want, you have to believe all of those things that the author has mentioned before. What are they?
1) First, you have to believe you deserve to have them, something that seems easy enough but can be a real challenge in a society where many of us have been put down our whole lives either by ourselves or others.
2) The second part of the equation is believing that you already have a lot to be happy about. This one usually goes by the name gratitude and it's absolutely crucial. If you decide not to apply anything else you read today apply this : make sure you do some sort of gratitude exercise every day. It doesn't have to be a concrete thing but put a reminder somewhere, maybe a mark on your hand or a sticker on your car dashboard, that will remind you to take a minute and be grateful for all the good you have in life.
3) The third step is the belief that the best is yet to come. This is the list the author mentioned before where it comes into play. Believe in your goals, believe they're already on their way and believe that no matter how long it has to take they're coming for sure, cultivating patience may not be easy but it definitely pays off.
4) Lastly, and the most important, is the part where you believe in yourself. You believe that you're going to seize the opportunities when they come. Take time each day to assess how seizing those opportunities, or accomplishing those goals will make everyone’s life better. Think about how happy it would make you and focus on that. The happy people in life prepare themselves for their happiness. It may seem weird but by believing that the best is coming, and focusing on how they'll feel when it does, your mind is being trained to recognize it when it finally comes and take action towards it.
As a final thought remember that your happiness is no more than a decision away, but just because it's simple, it is not simply easy. Believe in yourself, believe in your goals and believe in your abilities and gifts that are unique to you. But no matter what you do – Don’t Stop Believing! I WILL...I ALWAYS BELIEVE ONE DAY (SOON) I WILL OWN A FSO!
